Rory Booth Commits to Lebanon Valley College
Rory Booth has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey at Lebanon Valley College beginning in the 2026-27 season. Booth will continue his development with the Boston Jr. Rangers (NCDC) as he prepares for the next level.
The Spring City, Pa., defenseman has posted 3 goals and 14 assists for 17 points in 45 games this season, and credited the Rangers organization for its championship culture and consistent support throughout the recruiting process.
“I was traded into the Boston Junior Rangers organization early this season and immediately recognized the championship culture that had been started here by the team and coaching staff. I can confidently say that in the three years of junior hockey I have played, no team has been more united and goal driven.”
Contact with the LVC coaching staff began early in the 2025-26 season, with head coach Don Parsons and assistant coach Doug Yingst reaching out to evaluate his game. For Booth, the fit on and off the ice was clear from the start.
“They were interested in bringing in a physically impactful defenseman like myself, and I was very interested in the culture that the LVC hockey team has. This coupled with the strong marketing program at LVC made it the perfect place for me for the next four years.”
With his college future secured, Booth remains locked in on helping the Rangers make a deep run in the postseason.
“With my commitment secured for this year, my focus is now entirely on our playoff push, and working every day to make it to the championship.”
Congratulations to Rory Booth and his family on his commitment to Lebanon Valley College. The Boston Jr. Rangers look forward to supporting his continued development as he prepares for the next level.
